Can anyone here cast zinc....

I was wondering if anyone on here can cast zinc.
I'm looking to use a small garden battery in my track car. However the battery has rectangular posts and I can't find an adapter to fit the cars terminals.

So basically I need two small post adapters cast or maybe machined....

when you say rectangular posts do you mean the flat posts that stick up with the hole thru them? i think they were common on some fords.

would it not be cheaper and easier to crimp on suitable connectors rather than cast adpators ?

It's the L terminal type.

Zinc will corrode quickly due to the sulphuric acid

There was some battery terminals at work that were removed from some rolls AGM batteries, if I can find them I'll post a picture in case they'd be any use to you.

They are standard car battery post terminals (AP in the diagram above) with a stud protruding from the base.

I use the studded types to connect a battery charger to side terminal batteries, don't know if You have those types over there.

That looks the same as most bike batteries, just crimp a ring terminal and bolt it to the batteries post.
