Not sure where to post this. Should it be in equipment wanted?
I need the thread on the lower end of this shaft extending by 20mm.
The brake disc will be removed. It's about 40mm in diameter, can't remember exactly, and metric thread though can't remember the pitch off the top of my head.
Would be nice if the original thread could be picked up, but the threaded end will, I think, all get cut off after so may not be essential.
It's been hardened, but I can mark it with a file and I turned the shiny section next to the thread without much bother.
My lathe only does imperial threads though.
Anyone able to take this on? A local firm said they would do it at lunchtime, but 2 months later it hadn't been done, so I got it back.
