Haven't picked up the Torch in ages, had a go on some scrap tonight.

First piece I butted two pieces of bar together and had a quick go, that was a bit rusty so pulled in some oxidation.

Next I thought i would do a fillet weld on some better steel.

To which I added some weave.
And another pass biro for reference.

What do you guys think.
Welded with R-Tech AC/DC201 with red tip 2.4mm electrodes.

I will practice on some sheet metal tomorrow I think. ~2mm thick stuff.

Also need to get some stainless wire and some stainless sheet and tube to play with.

Really struggling with aluminium still. Will get some new electrodes from BOC I think.

I'm no expert but if I could produce those results I'd be happy
