Steel technological two-leaf doors were urgently needed. The sellers offered double the price (compared to a single leaf door from the same collection) and... And a delivery time of 20 weeks. There is nowhere to retreat, the builders are waiting for the door. I bought 4 doors and will convert them into two double doors. TIG welding, grinder, putty and painting. Making custom stainless steel inserts for locks and eliminating the gap...

It depends. After China's abundance of steel doors, including stainless foil doors in every size and taste, the local selection is poor to say the least. Or this mass market or fire doors with the appropriate price. These German doors, a pathetic imitation of the Chinese ability to make things out of nothing at a divine price. I took measurements, the door leaf overlaps the door frame diagonally. If these were not Germans, but Italians or Spaniards, I would say that the doors were made on the first working day after a long holiday.

This is a slightly altered, old Yugoslav pantograph workbench. Added castor wheels, in the raised position it is easy to roll, in the lower position, the wheels wobble, but can be transported. I use it for various things.

Previously, in our premises of the industrial zone, a large furniture factory worked. I barely had time to salvage some of the fixtures from the scrap metal. The cleaners threw out just tens of tons of equipment before I found the person responsible for cleaning the old workshops and negotiated for free metal.

It remains to cut rectangular grooves under the tongue of the lock. The bar 25*25 is fastened with 6 bolts + PU sealant. I will also weld two latches to fix the door leaf to the floor and ceiling. Repeat details twice.

Black plastic handles will be replaced with stainless steel handles, with a change in the way the handles are attached.
