Butbro

Just doing a net search and came acrossed butbro (for those not in the know they supply gas equipment), i had a butbro regulator years ago and the build quality seemed ok, just wondered if that is still the case or is it all now made in china, have they become a box mover?

I've got a couple of newish Butbro regs (Argon and a propane single stage i think), i didn't buy them, but they perform ok, and stand up to fab shop treatment.
They do have that unmistakable chinese quality about them.

A fair few of ours are Butbro (Butcher brothers isnt it?)
few of the gas torches and nozzles are too.

It's decent gear Butbro. They are now part of the ESAB group & their regulators are the same as the American "Harris", sold by Lincoln Electric.
