After another year of hammering paperwork in to Foolscap Box Files, we've come to the conclusion that the ones we bough in bulk (25 pieces) are absolute dog eggs. The lock mechanism to hold the box closed falls apart or falls out.

Had a look on Zoro, and the have the QConnect brand, which were good 10 years ago, but they seem to use the same locking mechanism that the Staples boxes use, so they're going out of choice too.

Not looking to spend the earth, but they need to be up to the job of holding a years worth of accounts, timesheets, invoices, quotes, etc, etc.

Any suppliers that you can personally recommend?

I use Centurion box files. I can’t say any better than others, it's best not to over fill them and then stick elastic bands around to keep shut
