Hence my double dab technique I mentioned earlier.I opened my log burner door handle once without a glove on.
Funny how there is a split second delay before you feel the pain though.
Strangely enough I’ve never done it since.
Inadine gauze proper dressing clean and dry, new dressing every night as pictures were taken .Are you disinfecting that daily and keeping the wound covered in a dressing ?

Pleased you’re healing, but how did it happen?Inadine gauze proper dressing clean and dry, new dressing every night as pictures were taken .
I was taught to touch with the back of your hand, as when pain hits theres a tendency to grip tighter, also if you burn the back of your hand, it doesn't stop you working or removing yourself from the risk. When I worked in the welding shop for a while I got into the habit of ‘double taping’ anything I was going to pick up. The idea being that it takes a second to realise something is too hot to touch, so by quickly touching it, letting it go, then picking it up properly your brain realises it’s hot and you hopefully don’t take a firm grip on it.
I was setting up a machine for a friend .Pleased you’re healing, but how did it happen?
