Hi can anybody help me. I have a sipmate 170 pro, when i finish weldig the wire does not burn back and there is no way of adjusting it on the outside of the machine.
That sounds odd. Do you mean the wite sticks in the weld pool every time you lift off the trigger? It's only the really pro welders that have a control for burn back as far as I can tell.
Try tightening the tension on your wire feed rollers slightly, this will eliminate any 'push through' of wire caused by the inertia of the wire reel turning.
