SWMBO broke a couple of tines off of her (not our) Bulldog contractors fork, while digging tree roots a few days ago. It is about ten years old and done a LOT of work, so can't complain about that. It is quite sturdy with square section tines, steel handle etc.
Ordered a replacement, as I like to treat her
Another Bulldog, as it is a British company and proclaims their tools are made in the UK, and quality has always been good, and I have used their stuff all my adult life.
It turned up today, but rather disappointed, as the tines are now rectangular, with the thinnest edge side to side (weaker) and to cap it all, there is a label on it stating "Made in India".
So another good old British company and British jobs going down the Swannee.
I might as well buy a cheap one.
