Single or double ? Double’s have a tiny top oven nowadays. Not the cheapest but I would have a look at the smeg range. Biggest top oven capacity available

We have a double gas oven with a top electric grill - when we bought it it seemed very limited in choice if you wanted a double gas oven, only belling seemed to do one but there were loads of double electric ovens.

We’ve since had an extension done so we had an electric point put in for an electric oven rather than being tied to gas as we were before, if we want to change in the future.

there all much about the same. for the price a cheapish ones ok they all last ages and if it goes wrong just buy a new one . if its expensive and goes wrong you feel obliged to get it fixed and costs a packet for spares and the bloke to come out

Do not get the Neff one with the slide and hide door, no end of trouble, we are on our 3rd one now and it wI’ll not be long before they have to change it again. Thankfully it is insured.

You can't go wrong with John Lewis. OK, you don't necessarily know who the underlying manufacturer is but they don't sell rubbish, are surprisingly well priced and have service second to none (well, maybe apart from R-Tech, but they don't do ovens )

We've had our JL double oven for 9 years and now and it's a great piece of kit.
