Hi,
I need to build dividing sheets of metal mesh for a van that will be used to transport dogs. I need a 4 way division- 1 going the length of the van, the other going across the width. IE from above it will look like this:
The red lines being what I need to build.
I have 4 questions:
1. Planning to use weld mesh and angle iron, build frame from angle iron and then fill in with the mesh? Is this a good idea
2. I have no idea how to attach the sections of frame. I'm thinking one rectangular to run the length of van, then 2 coming off at a right angle. How would I weld these- just butt them against the main section?
3. Will the weld mesh give enough strength or will I need bracing at the corners of the frame?
4. How do I attach the whole structure to the van? i'm assuming just bolt it in where possible?
Thanks in advance for any help!
