Nice looking sporty tom the forks look smart are you going to use the rear wheel as well
I have got to build frame for this one he does have all the running gear as well though as it was a 9r but was abused and when he drained the oil it didn't look good hence the reason for the strip check and rebuild

Hi , its one i got given after a bad crash , I got a frame from a guy who built a chopper and bought the sportster as a donor log book , crashed one was only two months old , but sat for ten years before i got it , i bobbed the back end , and had the engine into as many parts as it would go as the front rubber mount was missing smashed off by the front wheel so it got a new one welded on , cases surfaced , and rebuilt it ,,, bmw 8 inch bullet headlight finished it off well , but its not in the pic , on modified Buel mounts to leave the chunky forks showing ,, I rode it from my work bench to the garage door , and sold it ,,,, Ducati , or BMWs are my usual weapon of choice , I just like twins ,,, hope you do a thread on your build , t

Sounds like it looked nice when it was finished I've never really been in to harleys and v twins tend to build them how I remember them from my childhood days when my father was in to them before harleys became big they were mainly big 4s then gsxr, xs1100,z1300s etc
apart from an intruder I'm building for someone at the min the xb will be the second twin chop I have ever built and yh I will put a log up when it gets started I've also got to build another bandit chop and a gs500 (he is not long on the road )for the brother in law I will prob put them all in the same log though

there not to bad if you use a good seat the intruder I'm building is using airbags instead of the normal spring set up and all though a bit cumbersome I'm impressed so far
