All that needs is a spacer the length added by the adaptor on top of the quill/spindle, easy peasyDoes the chuck have no stub end on it? Just whip up a male imperial to female m16 adapter. Only issue might be that the drawbar is then too long.
What size are they usually?
I should have one knocking around will give it a go tomorrow.If the metric version is M16, it would be a good bet that the imperial version is 5/8"-11UNC (or if it is very old 5/8-11 BSW). I have a feeling that BT40 might be too new to ever involve BSW threads.
