Mum's been paying for broadband fibre package for 6 years and never had it Installed , she told engineer didn't want it when he was installing phone , we sent all equipment back , £65.75 a month she's paid for 6 years , just phoned and cancelled it so she has phone only £19.75 per month , big difference ! The customer service told me we didn't cancel over the phone so he couldn't do anything about it , he said we could have been using the service without them knowing , I said surely he can tell if we used the Internet? Didn't answer that one , turns out my email and mobile number have been added to the account , only reason I can see for that is when I complained about paying for broadband and tv , convinced we had the conversation with them before !
Who do I go to to complain , customer service not interested , I said citizens advice he said go ahead !
Is there anyone else to moan to omnibudsman?
Mum's 83 couldn't use Internet , cant work the thermostat on the heating ! Lot of money wasted on this
Also she doesn't get a paper invoice every month , they're not sending them to my email , we may have spotted this much sooner had we had something !
I'm pretty sure we told them this beforehand
