broken snap-on tools - what sort of 'credit' might a dealer give?

it crazy what the snap on fan boys will pay.

what really confuses me is the ones where the condition is fully developed where everything has to be snap-on , so were talking drill bits, battery drills, bearing pullers ect. whilst snapon spanners are ok the prie they are willing to spend on rebranded drill bits boggels me, when there are companys out there that specalise in makeing drills and do it much better.

Agree with that entirely. No tool company makes or sells the best at everything. If you want the best Of everything then you have to mix it up.

in worksops -its snapon and on site its dewalt or festool otherwise your not cool. ohh i forgot and if your a joiner u must have a estwing hammer not a stanley i must admit i like the estwing hammer i have . its perfectly shaped and ballanced but i only paid 15 quid for it not 35
