Hi,new to this forum.while spot welding on low power the unit stopped welding.the 3.15 fuse blew and the main contactor does'nt activate.wire feeds.if i replace the fuse it blows when the trigger is pressed and the main contactor closes and immediatly releases.no burned components on control board.(ew22)i suspect the ic on the board but can't find a supplier. Sorry, I don't have an HTP.
It may be something on the board, or the motor may have a short or be under too much load.
If you try it without the tension on the wire feed , so the motor can run free ,that would be one test.
The other test would be to see if the motor when unhooked from the board will run off of 12 volts.
