Broken headband on SIP helmet.

Hi folks,
As the title says...I broke the adjuster on the back. Are they an SIP only replacement or will any one fit?

It is just the adjuster at the back thats broken, it is stuck in one position.

That's where mine failed.
If it's an early model it's a bit too light for the hob. The later models were beefed up, but they don't fit the earlier model.

Update... I contacted SIP and they said replacement headbands are available. So I ordered one....hope it fits...£9 + tax and delivery.

Can't help but back in the day before comfort and balance was Synonymous with welding hoods I use to use cable ties to hold those straps together whenever they broke.
edited to say which sip mask is it.

could you use the strap from a plastic site safety helmet , bit of cutting and joining , but it may get you going again

Just waiting for someone to tell you that Sip helmets are rubbish and that you should buy a speedglass helmet!
