Yeah i think your right about the cherrying head i'll ask if he has any collets too just in case , most of my cutters are 1" so should be good to goThe picture shows the horizontal attachment as well as (I think) a cherrying head top right. Have a look on vintagemachinery for further details. I think the cherrying head used its own unique collets so without them it is not much use.
Check the arbor diameter matches the cutters you have, likely 1".
Yeah I meant to check on there as I know there are various heads avaliable , I bet those collets are rare as hens teethSorry, I mis-named it. It is not a cherrying head. It is one of the ones shown here and generally described as 'right angle head' and could be No. 4 or No. 2:
