Breaker Board Holder

Hi,

My first proper project. Only been TIG welding for two months or so, practising in the garage.
This is a breaker board holder (for Tae Kwon-Do kicking and punching) that I'm making for my girlfriend. She's gotten so good at it that I'm no use at holding the boards anymore.

Main parts are made of 30x30mm box section, 2mm wall thickness (I think). Then it'll be hung on the wall using some L-section. I'm making two sets.

The board will slot into the horizontal parts (box section cut in half to make shallow U-shape).

It needs a few more coats of paint, but we couldn't resist giving it a bash. Litterally.

Looks like good work.

I don't think your using enough current on the T joints, thats why your having problems. Turn the amp's up and they should be much easier.

Thanks! You're the second one who's said I lack power in the T joints. Much appreciated. Will press the pedal further down next time.

She really is that crazy. In fact, I call her Crazy.

She tends to put forward a case and I oblige.

Just to make sure, I made it of 2.5mm wall thickness.

Fair enough mate. If she breaks that, you'd best make them out of solid bar. Quickly.

I'll keep that in mind, maybe order some in case it "comes in handy"..
