Brass Porthole fasteners (Dogs)?

My boss has bought some vintage brass port holes and is intending to use them in an extension he is building. Some are complete and some have bits missing. He mainly needs the latches ( I believe the correct term is dogs, swinging type). He has asked me to see if I can source some for him. Are these as rare as rocking horse poo or can they be found easily? I have spent an hour googling and come up with nothing. I'm sure the combined knowledge on this forum will come up with something. Your help is much appreciated.

Looks like the sort of thing you could make up from a brass eye bolt if required?
Donk it a few times with a hammer to give it the authentic look?

Use to be two foundry's near me making these throughout the war, sadly now gone.
As above really, or you might find some one who sells Nautical salvage who has spares but I suspect the lifting eye will be a cheaper alternative

You could try Trinitymarine.co.uk ,if your brave and beware its a place that money can evaporate to very quickly.

use one as a pattern and get them sand cast or easy enough to make the pattern
