I have a 2023 1.5 Kuga with 1400 miles , the brakes are very fierce, I have turned down the anti collision, but when you brake does not matter what speed, the car stops dead

First of all Hi and welcome on your 1st post, secondly you have posted in the "learn mig welding" section so might not get the answers your after...unless you want to weld your brakes open so they are not as fierce

No idea about the kuga but my vw was the same when I got it.
On that it was the "Brake assistance" setting in the abs controller that needed changing not the anti-collision.
The values for anti-collision just alter the response time for activation.

Sounds like a warranty job. Contact your car dealership, if there's only 1400 miles on the clock.

Sound like a good thing. Better to be able to brake than not.

Years ago on the Lotus 7 club forum a new owner complained about the vented front discs rusting in the vents . . . a mate of mine suggested a good coating of bacon fat to stop them rusting . . .and if he ever got them hot, they'd smell nice . . .
