brake line clips/clamps

what you guys using? pre made or home grown?

Not needed many, but bought plastic ‘P’ clips when required from the local motor factors.

I made P clips out of aluminium strip, you can use a bit of heat shrink round them if you want the proper look.

i got a few sheets or ali that will do easy to cut with snips easy to drill wont rust away like the heat shrink idea too ;-)

Is he talking about retaining clips or
To clamp the brake line off when changing calipers etc??

To fasten to cars I like p clips on rivnuts or welded studs. C clips where they go through retaining plates.

To change calipers I have some soft orange plastic clamps, or some draper stoppers depends on if they disconnect an end easily

A guy up the road supplies me with these fancy rubber lined stainless p clips, does me a deal if I buy them by the bag

i have a fair few of those none with a m8 hole and they are too thin to drill without messing them up

M8 hole! That is some serious overboltage for brake piping clips.

I used some brackets drilled them to m8 then use rubber p clips with m5s
