I’m making copper bar tops for a new restaurant,I’ve done these perfectly before with 90 degree corners, but these require radius corners, problem is after sanding flush I’m getting pinholes/cracks,the material is only 0.7mm,my joints are either butt and/or lapped (no joggles),
brazing with SIF flux, and tig with electrical t&e wire, but having the same faults.
I’ve also tried running fillets on the reverse side and even tacked on a backing strip.
Also used an aluminium heat sink to reduce distortion.
Thanks for any ideas.
