I recently bought the above portable extractor on a whim from an industrial auction site (only £40 so thought it was worth a punt, given its £700 RRP). A rough overview can be seen here:

Anyone ever used one? Is it at all suitable for my needs - AC TIG welding mainly, so not too fumey but would be nice if it would reduce the lingering argon and also smoke (contaminants etc) as my workshop is only small and not the best ventilation.
I need to buy a 110v transformer to run it - but before I do this I thought it best to try and sus it out a bit. As said, bought on a whim, could be scrap value lol.
