Long story short - decided to replace our 18yr middle of the range integrated Bosch dishwasher with current model middle of the range integrated Bosch dishwasher.
Didn't think too much about it - hoped that it would pretty much fit straight back in....and it did except...
After several weeks running with the cabinet door panel off (making sure there were no leaks/too lazy) decided to fit that today.
Used the supplied template and offset it by the top door gap (about 5mm in my case) marked the holes - none were in the same place as the original dishwasher - some were a few mm off - bit annoying I thought, if you're going to change it make it significant. Fitted the T slot brackets, offered it up to find it sitting several mm too high mmmm.
Studied the guided template and noticed the rulings didn't go all the way to the top. Re-drilled holes a few up (2 of them were now in the original position (4 weren't) and the T slots were now straddled where they originally were. Installed door after much frustration - it has velcro, which I think is meant to hold in position until door aligned then you open the door to access the screws. Unfortunately the velcro wasn't strong enough to overcome the catch strength. Eventually got it installed and perfectly aligned. (OK maybe a mm too high).
Excellent I thought....until I went to open the door to find it hits on the dishwasher sump panel and only opens 2/3 of the way DOH!
I then check the dims for this dishwasher...to find my worktop height is right on top limit as is my door height...This kitchen is bespoke but I checked our utility cabinets and they're the same door height.
Anyone else experienced this?
