Came across these in toolstation yesterday.
Nearly chucked on on the counter to test.
Anyone tried them.

Will do.Didn't really seem to power through that nail....bt might be handy to have a few just in case.
If you give them a go please report back
https://shop.bosch-professional.com/gb/en/accessory/carbide-multi-wheel-cutting-discs--2610132Can these be used with a normal grinder or do you need a variable speed grinder? It says "unique cutting speed" in the video, anyone know what the speed is.
Don't notice it with diamond stone disk. Zip straight through plastic no bother and easy to put a chamfer on with it too when working with soil pipes.I keep looking at one for the plumbers that keep using thin discs on waste pip. Takes them forever and the burning smell that lingers.
Il agree for the most but I can see uses for it.I could’ve done any of those cuts quicker and neater with a hand tool, especially if you count the time to unbox and plug in the grinder, find the transformer, find out it’s not powered up, find someone on site to sort it out...etc. Plastic pipe - Stanley knife, wood - Japanese pull saw, nail - hacksaw or cold chisel. Give me hand tools on site any day for little jobs like that.
Ok, I still want to try one.
My boss bought one of those Bosch concrete / steel £30 discs a while back - only application I can think of is cutting the odd bit of reinforced concrete without swapping discs to cut the steel.

Cordless grinder![]()
Yeah, you’re right. Except when the batteries run out
If I did major stuff on site I’d probably use power tools a lot more, most of my work is small remedial tasks and I want to be in and out.
Haven't ventured into flexvolt yet.8 batteries. Crazy thats that sets work out so much cheaper.
