I’d stick it in the dsg and bore it or maybe in the horizontal borer depending which way the wind is blowing

If it’s the base plate it will be tough but probably not hardened

run a file over it, if it bites it’s not

Getting there...bore is done.
Sleeve is nearly there just a spring pass after its cooled down.

Slow progress but better than having to take it elsewhere to be salvaged.
Quite impressed how it's coming out. Especially as I am just an ex firefighter who piddles around (to purloin a doubleboost phrase).
