I have replied to a request from a new member for info on the above welder. I replied directly to his message but realize the info could also be put on a thread for any one else googling or searching the forum for info on a Boramig.
As I bought the mig as a non runner (well I like a challenge, but rewinding the main transformer was not what I was expecting!). I took lots of pics of inside if needed and also mapped out the circuit and wiring. See pics. I also added later a digital readout for the wire feed voltage to allow for fine adjustment/control. It is surprising how little of a turn on the wire feed control changes the voltage to the motor. I thing this is where machines like the Portamig gain there control by having if I recall a coarse and fine adjustment of the wire feed ?
