boots sizes??

has any one notice the difference in boots sizes??
I bought a pr of work boots size 12 but the they are still small!
I normally take size 11 and have done since my teenage years.
its the same with clothes.

I noticed that boot sizes and wellie sizes are different. and steel toe wellies are different to normal wellies too.

I take size 11 boots, size 10 steel toe wellies and had to ask the woman in the shop to find me a pair of size 9 wellies the other day as the 10's were far too big

size varies with diffrent manafacturers unfortunately some 10 size fit me some dont and size 11 is to big

I think boots are slightly larger than shoes size for size to allow for thicker socks.

I tried some firefrighter wellys on the other day, right size, I could also most of turned round in them.

I think the European sizes, messed things up, some 46 are classed as 13 some 47 are also classed as 13 .
But apparently your feet still grow as you get older, mine have, I have shoes from a few years ago that I cant get into now I think over the last 15 yrs mine have gone up 1,1/2 sizes

the boots these days are made in ch??ky land so their size 13 is our 11,
well thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it
