dose it say you need an IVA on that website then ?
my understanding was that as long as you dont make major mods to the chassis then you dont need an iva, and they describe major mods as cutting the main rails or crossmembers,
moving engine mounts or body mounts dosent count as major apparently according to letters l have seen from vosa

As the Outbak uses the original Vitara chassis it is exempt from the Single Vehicle Approval Test, therefore a standard MOT, road tax and insurance are only required to use the Vitara on the road. Stu, give Nick (NCF) a ring - he's a very helpful sort who has been dealing with this for years. Apparently he the second longest running Co. making kit cars after Dutton.
If you join the forum there is some stuff on there ae well where folks have shared their experiences.
I vaiguly think you said you didn't like the Sahara? Nick will do variations as each one is hand built by him. Our Sahara has, or will have, full doors and is going to be a sort of king cab. To allow for the extra room behind the seats the back load area is slightly longer. He has done other special specials too! PM me if you want more info.
