Bodywork advice / help needed.

I want to relocate the LPG filler cap away from the rear wing, a) because it looks awful and b) because it's rusting where the installers failed to treat the bare metal when the hole was cut.

Any suggestions, of how it should be done ?

Is there anyone local(ish) to me that could do the work, or any recommendations.

Moveing the filler point is easy. There shouldn't be any gas in that bit as there is. None return valve in the tank but remove slowly just in case. You can get different length filler pipes as well but there is quite a bit of regulation about keeping away from hot and sharp bits etc.

Personally I would remove, deal with the rust then put back in place as they wil be a big hole left to fill and the need to make a fresh hole

Moving the filler point is easy enough....it's the filling the hole bit I'm struggling with.

you need to get it apart and see how bad the rust is might be fairly simple, cut a disk of steel the right size and weld in or the panel might fall the fall to bits and yoy will have to cut a bigger hole
