Body filler over Silicon-Bronze

New here, I had my motorcycle gas tank sand blasted then some holes filled with a MiG Silicone-Bronze welder. Can I use body filler directly in these areas or do I need to prime with epoxy primer first? I was planning on just using a acid etch primer after the filler work.

Note there are existing seams that were probably brazed from the factory.

I'm a big fan of iso etch primer.

If you are concerned about a good job, the answer is always Epoxy primer. As a primer, sealer, barrier coat and waterproofer.

Thank you. So you wouldn't use a high-build primer? Just more epoxy primer after body filler work?

Why spoil a job? Introducing polyester primers gives you the same problems with potential microblistering on top as they would below. Put more epoxy on if you need more thickness.
