Hello
New to tig welding and have just bought a Jasic JT-200D, and i'm slowly learning the basics.
Have the standard supplied torch - WP26 but want to fit a smaller torch (BOC SR 9F) that was given to me.
Standard torch has negative output lead, spring loaded gas-in and torch switch connector (2-pin).
The SR 9F is as above with the exception of the negative lead. I have modified both the torch switch connector and the gas-in so they now have the same type connectors the WP26.
My question is, why is there no negative lead on the SR 9F? Have taken it apart and there is no empty receptacle for a negative lead to be fitted. Bear in mind we are talking complete newbie to this game but
look forward to some positive replies.
Thanks in advance
