BOC regulator - swap or keep?

Advice welcomed. I'm selling on an old Cebora MIG welder. It's got an old 230 bar, two gauge, BOC Saffire series 1 ArC regulator. The MIG welder I'm keeping has a more recent 300 bar, two gauge regulator - branded as "Specialised Welding products". It's marked as due for replacement 2022.

I think they're both single stage. While both are fine and do what they need to, the BOC regulator, although old, seems a sturdier piece of kit and I'm tempted to swap them up and keep the BOC.

Any thoughts? Either way?

wouldnt bother about the sell by date they last and work for donkeys years . only in business and insurance purposes they are replaced id have had to replace mine 10 times if it was the case

Thanks. I did think that might be the case, and the BOC one seems particularly solid.

Well if truth be told, one of the other reasons I like the BOC one is the layout on the gauges.

I've a new, cheap SWP and the useful part of the scale is rubbish.

Bit the bullet. Swapped the regs (to keep the BOC) and put the welder on Ebay. Thanks for the opinions and advice.
