BOC MG25i

Hope this is the right section...
I have just picked up a welder ( second hand )
It has a BOC MG25i euro torch but is missing the gas shroud.. where can I get this? I have searched Google and ebay bit nothing ?

Any help appreciated

A BOC agent has them but its a 24 hour flight to pick it up..Its in Australia. I bet iff you dont like flying the same item could be got from a BOC yard here or something to fit at the very least.

If you post a pic of the torch, someone may recognise it as another brand with similar spares?.

So seems I haven't come up with any more info on this torch..

How could I tell what type it is .. ie mb15 ..25 etc ?

From what I've read .. torch is the same as a kemppi pm 27 ?

My local welding suppliers isn't very helpfull ..unless your buying new they don't want to know really:/

Hopefully the clue is in the original part number BOC MG25i could be an MB25?, what is the max current your welder puts out?, ideally you should match the torch to that. Any brand will fit as it's a standard euroconnection.

I did think mb25 but from what I've seen on line my torch has a m8 thread for the tips and I thought that would be mb36 ?

Right little update .
Tryed the following .
Mb15
Mb25
Mb36
None fit lol..
Mb25 is too small and mb36 is too big ..wtf?
I went to a local welding supplier he said a shroud will cost more than a new euro torch.. £126 for the 3m torch ... I don't think so lol..
I have left it at another welding suppliers too see what they can find out but does anyone else have any ideas? I've seen you can get an mb501 but I'm guessing that would be massive even compared to a mb36?

So the euro connectors don't fit? Is that want you mean?

MB501 is roughly the same physical size as an MB36 but is water cooled and much more expensive.

I'm talking about the gas shroud mate.
I've tryed all the shrouds I could find and none fit ..
It's annoying I don't like to be beaten lol
