Boc/cebora/snap on wire feed tensioner broken.

Hi all, I'm new to this forum.

After lending my boc mig master 130 turbo to a 'friend' for a couple of weeks, it's finally returned (after 8 months of being messed around, I might add)

Needless to say, as soon as got it back, I plugged it in to make sure it all worked still. - nope.

Wire didn't feed. Opened it up and the top roller bracket on the wire feed had been over tightened, abused and snapped. (I'm guessing this is why it wasn't returned for so long)

Pee'd off to say the least.

I'm under the impression it's a cebora/snap on clone. Anybody got one or knows where I can buy a new one?

It's the piece at the top of the picture that's broke. Where the bottom piece hooks into and tightens down on.



Any help much appreciated.

Hi Steve,
Had exactly the same thing happen on my Cebora 130. Replacement parts obtained by visiting my local BOC depot but they had to be ordered in (the depot in my case is on 3 miles away).
However the parts come as a complete kit which includes the tensioner back plate as well. If my memory serves me well cost was in the £20 region.

I've got one almost exactly like this, with the same broken piece that goes around the pivot part. Weldequip show them as out of stock and another place suggests that they are no longer made.
Is there another way to resolve this, or am I looking at a new welder?

You might have joy with a complete replacement wire feed block from aliexpress...
