It looks like paint but its embedded , however no rust? So im lost also if i wax the hood/bonnet its smooth also the damage is not visible , if i Polish the windscreen its smooth but i can still see the damage from inside the car and outside. The dots are so fine and small its very hard to judge , i try to convince myself its paint damage but when i look carefully i can see its embeddedCan't get my head around what is being g described here. Paint don't penetrate glass hot grinder sparks do -is it the fact that polishing the paintwork transfered paint onto the embedded sparks?
correct ive had 2 windscreens burnt with grinding sparks of idiots using stihlsaws near my vanI could understand paint getting into the bodywork but can't see how it would get into the glass of the windscreen, makes me think it is more like hot particles of something.
Have a look at the picture's on page 1 what do you think? My concern is the paint work , the windscreen is can be replaced , does this look like grinder damage?it will tcut of paint before it goes rusty but windscreens are a gonner no matter how u try .they wont even polish out with pumice powder
yes he does work in construction however when he sold the car to me i didn't notice the damage he could have polished it so i didn't noticeYou'll get the same embedded rubbish from cutting stone or concrete with a stihl saw, grinder etc as you will with cutting metal - it just won't rust. And you did day the previous owner worked for a construction company?
