Which bit is that?

There are screw terminals for power and an RJ45 socket (that isn't used on the wifi version that I have).

The RJ45 used with PoE. I don't use wi-fi because it is trivially easy to block, even a nearby Microwave oven will take it out.

I don't have the Blink doorbell, but possibly @JOEPRO has?
If you surf for the Amazon Blink support group they have lots of articles and might possibly help if you post the question.
I asked Amazon's Blink tech support a question direct, they were useless.

Spent an unconscionable length of time failing to find an answer on the forum.

Eventually, I decided to try the traditional Microsoft solution.
Uninstall the app.
Exercise the full Anglo-Saxon vocabulary
Reinstall the app
Exercise the full Anglo-Saxon vocabulary
take 5 tries to remember the correct password
Exercise the full Anglo-Saxon vocabulary louder - much louder

Works again, for now at least.

Went through it on my phone, her phone and her tablet.

All worked.

Eventually, I decided to try the traditional Microsoft solution.
Uninstall the app.

I might try this for the issue I have on temperature detection/alert I have on all of my blink cams over 3 devices.
They are all wildly out according to the app, garden currently reading -47, the rest equally silly. The Blink forum and their tech support did not help.

Not hopeful, but will ensure I have all the login info before I uninstall.
Do you guys have issues with the temp readings?

Mmm, I may have some 'progress'.

It seems that unlike say telephone calls the doorbell doesn't 'wake up' a snoozing mobile telephone. If the 'phone is 'open' it does chime - eventually.

I will continue investigating (or fiddling according to SWMBO) to confirm this hypothesis.

Please tell me where these mythical settings hide.

I've been through every permutation of setting as has No 2 and No 3 son.

We haven't found any option that looks like that and we've been looking specifically for one.

It seems it is designed to mate with Amazon's Alexa and everything else is an afterthought.

I've been through every menu I can find on my Google Pixel 4A 'phone running the latest Android update.

No 2 son plans to buy a more capable stand-alone doorbell. If it does what we want I'll get one too and relegate this one to use as a simple camera. The cameras are ok-ish but slow to respond to motion.

How are you all getting on with your blink cameras?

Mine are decent for the most part. I find the motion sensing to be a bit hit and miss on some of the cameras maybe its also depending on sunlight glare etc im not sure.

One of my cameras has went totally offline the last few days. No low battery warnings or anything. So I've ordered the lithium AA batteries and ill try putting fresh batteries in first and see whats up.

Still doing good here. The remote app alerts and updates on devices is a bit pants, I had to change batteries in a few (although they seem to last a fair while) and didn't get any alerts, Ive just checked them again and it just says "OK" on all of them.
The temp reading on all of mine are nonsense

Doing Ok here, agree about the motion sensor. Still on original batteries, but they are not armed every day/night.

They repond to movement - eventually - most of the time.
Still haven't found how to make the doorbell sound on the telephone. Even when it is 'open' it responds less than half the time.

Disappointed.

Installed mine bought off face book

Couple a things the ring when the bell is pressed is low volume so does not alert me but I need to have a play on that

The moment sencer is a pain in the butt as where the door bell is it's constant going off so I've turned it off
