Hello everyone.

I must first of all thank you for a great online resource!
Reading the tutorials and scanning through previous posts have helped me enormously with my first tentative steps into MIG welding.
I've just got a Clarke 160EN and am using it with flux cored wire to do a variety of long overdue jobs around the farm.

Anyway, thanks again for starting me off and I look forward to some future clean welds...

Hi Eddy . That`s a nice welder to start off with. You`ll do a lot with it. I`m out of the bike thing now. What`s the do with X11 spec wise?

I've managed a few jobs with it today Made a bracket for the alternator on my tractor and fixed the exhaust. Quite pleased with the no-gas set up... works quite well outside and the welds are strong.

The Honda x11 shares the 1137cc fuel injected engine and many cycle parts from the (more numerous) Blackbird.
It is a "naked" bike in that it doesn't have an aerodynamic fairing... builds up your neck muscles a treat! Lovely, smooth, beast of a thing... I love it to bits!

Something different then. Can`t say the look of the replica racer type bikes does anything for me. All the drivers even dress the same. Until one takes his helmet off and you see he`s over 50, bald as a coot and a fully paid up member of the failed prostate gland soceity.....trying to look soooo cool............ joking!!.......just!

I know what you mean about some of the race rep brigade... "power rangers" we call them! Scream right past you on the straights but you always catch them again in the twisties!
