i want to paint my scooter two colour the front half is ral 7005 then moving back i intend to use fine line tape to go light grey signal. then to orange . how do i blend the line in where the two meet . this is 2k solid . pinstripe? or compound . i know it would be easier with base and lacquer but i have never used the stuff its always been solid plus i have got the paint now many thanks Sean

base and clear is very easy to use, the clearcoat stage is exactly the same as spraying 2k solid

as said base n clear then flat any egdes and polish
not sure how it would work if you painted 3 coats up to the tape , then once dry mask that up and do 3 cots of the other colour?
...or put a thin pin stripe over the edge

would be better to mask one section off and paint, mask another section off and paint that another colour, then mask the last section off and paint the final colour
remove all masking and using a smart repair/touch up gun blend over the joins
then clearcoat the lot
