OK, cheers for the advice.Try using a steel nozzle and earth it. Proper blast hose is ant-static.
Using an earthed metallic backplate to rest the glass on might help.
I've noticed static discharges using iron silicate (copper slag) when blasting, but don't seem to get as much static using crushed glass. Crushed glass will etch glass OK, but it does tend to be dusty.
