Blast cabinet extraction

struggling to see inside the cabinet now,as I’m only using a Henry vacuum at the moment.can anyone tell me if these are a suitable alternative.

I have a small benchtop cabinet, with the standard inlet it's not possible to get enough extraction to adequately clear the dust without infalting the gloves to the point it's unusable. I have removed the inlet and tiny outlet filter, wear a dust mask and blast in bursts 5 seconds on and off or so, it's a compromise but not worth the extra effort modifying it right now.

It needs a larger inlet to get more flow without the negative pressure.

I use a woodchip extractor as well, but ideally you want to use it with a cyclone - and the cheap cyclones are typically designed for smaller high pressure low volume applications (such as a hoover).
Large dust extractor cyclones for high volumes are harder to find and a lot more expensive.

You can buy ready made dust extractor units for sandblaster cabinets, they come on a lot of the Chinese ones - look for something like a replacement extractor for an SBC 420 for example.
I have not experience on how well they work, but it might be a simpler option.

for scale, how big is the hose inlet ?
3" dia. or 4" dia. ?

Airflow is restricted by its narrowest point.

You could make up a simple plywood box, mount the fan on top.

That hose (if it's like ours) is very thin (doesn't hold up well) and makes
a good amount of restriction.
I use 4" thinwall PVC pipe where I can, flex only where needed.

yep thats all i use on mine from the cabinet to the fan then from fan to just outside just a bit of sweeping up to do hardly any as i have a fine filter in the cabinet up on the side so only loose the dust it has a mesh floor with a rubber mat covering most of it so spent grit just drops down in the hopper and the blast jet doesnt blow it all up and around the cabinet
