Black powder

I reckon I need to buy some powder coat.

At present I just want black. But there are lots of different finishes.

What I would like is a deep non reflective Matt black, but I fear that may mark easier than just bog standard black?

What do you think, and, second, where is best to buy from?

And third... If I buy a fluidising bed, I'm guessing there's a minimum amount of powder you need to get going?

Decide what you think is the best finish and get one done by a powder coater, if it turns out to be what you want, then buy some powder and do the rest yourself.

How much do you need.
Recently I was very surprized on the cost of getting it done.
Ok we waited 10 days, until our colour went through.

I bought satin black as a half way house between gloss and matt. I came out shinier than I would have liked so I will buy matt next time.

Its certainly the "fine black" look that i like - does it mark (show up marks) worse than the other two?

Id imagine its way better at covering up defects in the metal?

I’d say the finish is probably more resilient.
