Black nitride coating

Anyone on here know of any black nitride contractors?
I think servis heat treatment might but I’m looking for other options

On serious note, last company had anything to do with nitriding, the company was in Sheffield, and they were doing valves for us. will see if i can dig out details.
PS what do you want it for, hardening or protection?
On Zamak and other difficult to coat materials we have been using cerakote.
For pure hardening applications on things like gudgeon pins and other hard wear parts we found DLC worked better.

How many do you want doing?

I’ve done a control systems for a few furnaces for a company called Aalberts who do nitriding (they have places dotted around country) but don’t know if it’s specifically the sort you are after. Don’t know if they have minimum orders etc.

but this was while working at Ford, so one big company dealing with another!
did deal with Suttons for hardening & coatings, but dont know if they still do it?
know that Sheffield university were doing a lot of research into the plasma nitriding with some local companies at one point.
You can get the chemicals to do the Tufftriding your self.

I think Zinc Alloy in Lancaster do it. They've always been very helpful for the bits I've had bzp coated etc.
