Not the neatest but I feel its getting better

Can't believe how much my filler hand shakes any tips on steady up my hands

Hey that looks good. I like the fact you've taken time and pride to prep and clean your work before and after. A mistake many make and struggle with. The welding looks nice as a result.
My only little bit of advice would be don't be frightened with the filler. There is areas of under cut where a little positive filling could resolve it easily. Great bit of circ welding.

Cheers when I come to do a weld that's a actual part I start panicking and feel myself rushing so it doesn't go wrong I think I need to keep doing it until it becomes second nature maybe I'll tuck the mig away and start using the tig more

I personally don't see what you've done there to be an issue at all. It's a good job and the filling intervals have been nicely timed and consistent. A little more positive on areas where undercut is likely and you'll be there. After that it's just a case of repeating it over and over to get neater and neater.

Don't be too hard on yourself. With only a day or two and some fancy kit you might surprise yourself. Failing that your getting the job done ok

Did a bit more tonight

Not much weld to show but the last bit of capping to go on

After a bit of cardboard engineering I got the shape I was after then drew it up on cad and cut it out

Made the help lines a bit long so they blew through on the laser but as they were being weld up not to much of a problem

Not that it a perfect weld but I have to say the photo has made it look worse honest

Even though I'm still learning tig I have to say I really am enjoying it thanks for all your help everyone
