Birthday present ideas

I have a birthday coming up and people are asking what I want (I'm not ungrateful, honestly) and I'm struggling to come up with ideas. Has anyone any ideas of things that I didn't know I needed? I was thinking a new welding mask and maybe a saw? Something like the Evolution R210CMS from Screwfix or equivalent.

Usually I don’t want anything as I generally buy it for myself as I need (want) it. But we’ve just been talking about xmas lists and this year I’m excited - maybe these are good ideas for you !

A puff (footstool - not sure what they’re actually called), some new pyjama trousers (I’ve pretty much worn mine everyday for the past 18 months) and some new Uggs (see previous point).

I reckon I’m getting old ….

Problem with presents are that even if you specify exactly what you want somehow they always get the wrong thing. Usual excuse is " I couldn't find exactly what you wanted but this is as near as I could find" So you specify an automatic paint stirrer and you end up with a B****y egg whisk. ( I don't even know if there is such a thing as an automatic paint stirrer.)

It's one of those things that you'll never really need, but can actually use quite often to measure diameter. Mine paid for itself, measuring a shaft that wasn't fully accessible.

I got a similar one to that from Aldi or Lidl for about £8ish a while back. I’ve used it for checking camber against a plumb line
