Ive just been talking, over on another forum, as to how the feedstock for biodiesel production is currently far more 'available' than it has been in a long time.
Various factors are involved, which i wont go into - my reason for posting here is just to say that, if anyone has toyed with the idea of making it in the past, now if the time to get on with it.
Generally its said that the hardest thing about starting is sourcing the feedstock (used cooking oil) but, as above, that's not too hard at all at the moment.
The other thing that stops people is physically putting together the equipment, and, i would imagine that a lot of people here would find that fun.
Anyhow, its a bit of an odd post - advertising something that i have zero vested interest in at all, but, hey, as i say, if youve been thinking about it in the past, now is a better time than youve had in some years.
