Are you Heli-coiling the brake caliper mounting threads while the uprights are in your shop? The threads on my previous Focus were like chocolate. May as well do it now to save you getting the uprights back in a few weeks.

The lad that owns them has a helicoil kit (9 / 1 mm) I have repaired loads of them VW use the same thread

Yes, the thread is too small in my opinion. It chews up too easily. Never had any trouble years ago with a Mark 4 Escort but I think the bolts were something like M12 which I think is more appropriate.

That looks like positive camber -----depending on the original strut angle

how's your policemans feet?

Tonights video shows it more clearly
The strut top is well inside the inner wing
Been having phsio & bought some decent insoles
I think it is improving
