Big cast iron pot

Tried Google lens , no joy , any ideas what this is , about 350m high weighs about 30 kgs cast iron , no markings or evidence of molten metal , its in Cornwall so posdible mining related ,

Possibly for molten Tin?

Hi , there are tin , copper and lead mines a plenty within a mile or so radius of our home , but there is no evidence in or on the pot of molten metal , its still a mystery my only thoughts are that it might have been for crushing ore samples
