Gentlemen, is there London based bicycle enthusiast here who wants to get involved in something unusual?
Sometime ago I was listening to my friend's band - they play what I would call classic rock - and a idea came to my mind. You know, one of those that from the first sight looks mental but then you realize that it's doable. I decided that I want to see them playing while on the move in Critical Mass ride. If you do cycling and love it - you would likely to know about Critical Mass, it's a monthly gathering of 300-1000 cyclists who go around London with music, beer etc, entertaining locals and tourists and annoying taxi drivers (my apologies if there're some here). It has very unique atmosphere - and that mostly thanks to the amount of music (and size of speakers) people bring with them. Critical Mass as such is a global event, happening monthly across the world, from Tokyo to New York and Rio. But no one, no one yet has actually tried to introduce live music there! Until now.
So we want to create a platform that would handle 3 people (2 guitarists and one singer) and all the music equipment while being relatively light and narrow, that would be pushed by three riders. I'm not a welder myself so I'm looking for a person who would see this as an interesting and crazy enough project to help us with welding, while we will focus on electrics and electronics, sound, etc. If you think this is fun or know someone who would love to get involved, please get in touch! :-)
